During the day I'm a Software Developer for a software company but my other passion is photography. I've been shooting for about ten years, with the last three heavily focused in the macro genre. Macro Photography - Insects and Spiders

I'm big into the conservation, education, and rearing of insects and spiders. There is a lot of ignorance surrounding spiders specifically, and they get a bad wrap for bogus reasons. With the help of macro photography I get people interested in creatures they may have disliked. I own various living and deceased insects and arachnids from around the world, but my living collection currently includes:

  • Tanzanian Tailless Whipscorpion(Damon diadema) - Male
  • Chaco Golden Knee Tarantula(Grammostola pulchripes) - Unsexed Juvenile
  • Greenbottle Blue Tarantula(Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens) - Unsexed Juvenile
  • Horned Baboon Tarantula(Ceratogyrus darlingi) - Female
  • Chilean Flame Tarantula - Red(Euathlus sp.) - Unsexed Juvenile

Printed Work

Recently my work was published in the latest hardback copy of Capture Cincinnati, but before that my a lot of my portrait work was published in Echo Immortalis Magazine. If you're looking to feature my work for an article feel free to contact me.
